Welcome to the Pleasant Hill Babe Ruth, youth baseball website. The youth of Pleasant Hill, Creswell, Lowell, Dexter, Cottage Grove, Oakridge and other communities near Pleasant Hill, Oregon had a fantastic 2009 baseball season. Deborah Mundorf is a sports photographer who has been shooting a number of Pleasant Hill Babe Ruth Babe Ruth Baseball games and those of the other Willamette Valley Babe Ruth teams. Meet Coach Kirk Miller Pleasant Hill Babe Ruth League Vice President
Coach Kirk Miller Vice President of Pleasant Hill Babe Ruth Baseball has been a familiar face in the community since moving his family to Pleasant Hill in August 0f 2003. Kirk and his wife Christal are the parents of two sons Kaleb and Andrew. For the past 13 years Kirk has been teaching health and PE and coaching both football and baseball. During the past 5 years he has taught for the Pleasant Hill school district where he coaches high school football and baseball.
Kirk stated, “I joined the Pleasant Hill Babe Ruth program for not only the benefit of my son, but also for the future of Pleasant Hill baseball. Baseball is a great game, because it teaches kids important lessons that cannot be taught in the classroom.”
Thank you Kirk for being such a positive influence to the children of Lane County. The Pleasant Hill Babe Ruth Baseball program appreciates your participation and looks forward to working with you for years to come.
Meet Forest Tomlinson Pleasant Hill Babe Ruth Coach and League President
Meet Coach Forest Tomlinson the current Area Director/President of Pleasant Hill Babe Ruth. Forest is also the Head Coach of the Pleasant Hill Babe Ruth Rookie Majors.
Five years ago Forest, his wife Miriam and son Torrey moved to Pleasant Hill, Oregon where he quickly became involved in the community. Forest background is in education and music. He is the chess coach for Pleasant Hill grades K-8 and also teaches guitar and Spanish in an after-school enrichment program.
For the past two years Forest has been the Area Director/President of Pleasant Hill Babe Ruth. He has demonstrated in his involvement and coaching a deep appreciation of the game. Coach Forest stated, “He is dedicated to passing on the beauty of the game and the lessons it has to offer to kids involved in the program.”
