Monday evening January 9th I took my grandson Seth to the U of O youth baseball clinic. As with the Ducks clinics of the past this was an excellent clinic. The coaches and players under the direction of Coach Stiles did a great job with the kids. The age of the kids in attendance appeared to range from about 6 to 14 and they were broken up into groups based on age and ability. The training was excellent. These clinics are available on a walk in basis on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 7PM to 8:30PM at a cost of $10 or a punch card can be purchased at a discount. The Ducks are also offering private and group lessons on pitching and fielding on Thursday evening.

As of August 18th Willamette Valley All Stars 10U finished the pool play 3-1 and today played against Laguna, CA. Today’s game was won by Laguna and the Laguna team will move on. Congratulations are still in order for the Willamette Valley team and we are certainly proud of you.
