Adam Bender is an 8 year old boy that lost a leg due to cancer. This did not stop his love for baseball. Playing without a prosthesis and only using crutches once he reaches base Adam plays a tough game of baseball in the Southeastern’s rookie league at Veterans Park in Lexington, Kentucky. You will also find Adam playing catcher and in the field. Keep it up Adam you are a great inspiration to others.
