Coach Kirk Miller is the President of Pleasant Hill Babe Ruth Baseball and the Willamette Valley Babe Ruth Area Director. Prior to his election as President he served as the Vice President of PHBR. Kirk has also served on the Willamette Valley Babe Ruth sportsmanship committee.
Kirk has been a familiar face in the community since moving his family to Pleasant Hill in August 0f 2003. Kirk and his wife Christal are the parents of two sons Kaleb and Andrew. For the past 16 years Kirk has been teaching health and PE and coaching both football and baseball. For 9 of the last 10 years he has taught for the Pleasant Hill school district where he coaches high school football and baseball.
Kirk stated, “I joined the Pleasant Hill Babe Ruth program for not only the benefit of my son, but also for the future of Pleasant Hill baseball. Baseball is a great game, because it teaches kids important lessons that cannot be taught in the classroom.”
During the 2011 Babe Ruth baseball season Kirk served as the coach of the Pleasant Hill Major-Minor team and coach of the WVBR All Star 11u B team.
