Evaluations and Registration THIS WEEKEND February 25th and 26th
Dear Parents and Players,
Babe Ruth Evaluations otherwise known as “tryouts” are this coming weekend February 25th and 26th. Our coaches and high school players will run everyone through some drills on batting, throwing and fielding. Babe Ruth coaches will observe the player’s skills to determine which team they may be best suited for. Team composition will be based on a player’s age and ability. Our goal is to ensure teams are positioned at the appropriate league level within Babe Ruth. Furthermore, we are committed to finding a place for every player wanting to play Babe Ruth baseball and resides within the school boundaries of Pleasant Hill, Cottage Grove, Creswell, Lowell and Oakridge.
Three sessions will be held, with registration taking place inside the Pleasant Hill High School gym. Parent or guardian will need to fill out a registration form and a medical release for your child. Please arrive at least 30 minutes early to complete this process so that evaluations can begin on time.

Registration will take place at Evaluations. DOWN LOAD FORMS HERE. New players need to bring a birth certificate and proof of residence. Fees will be collected at time of registration. Cash or Check only. This years fee is Rookies ($160), AAA – Majors ($180), Prep 13-14 ($190). Tuition/Fee Assistance/Payment Plan available.
The weather may be poor, so bring indoor tennis shoes in case we need to move into the gym and please have your child dressed in athletic apparel (baseball pants, sweat pants, etc.). If you have difficulty making either day or if you have questions, please contact Kirk Miller before Feb. 15th.
Also, no T-Ball evaluations will be held. T-Ball signups for kids 5 to 9 will be by mail at a later date. This will be a lot of fun, a short season and a great introduction to baseball, right here in Pleasant Hill.
