April 4th was opening day for the Babe Ruth / Cal Ripken teams. The weather cooperated and families were out in mass. Along with other Willamette Valley teams our Pleasant Hill Babe Ruth – Cal Ripken teams composed of players from the Cottage Grove, Creswell, Dexter, Lowell, Oakridge and the Pleasant Hill areas were there in full dress. While looking forward to the fun of baseball they were ready to show the other teams that they had a great 2009 season planned. Prior to today some of the Babe Ruth teams had already played a game and more games were played today. Our Pleasant Hill teams are working hard and smart towards another winning season.
