Due to weather conditions there was a last minute cancellation of the Bruce Breslaw Memorial Game. Since this game was being played between Creswell and Pleasant Hill High schools the rescheduling was beyond the control of Pleasant Hill Babe Ruth. The game is to be played today April 8th at 2:00Pm.
The Bruce Breslaw memorial game is played in conjunction with an annual fundraiser for the Pleasant Hill Babe Ruth Scholarship Fund. Pleasant Hill Babe Ruth encompasses the communities of Creswell, Pleasant Hill, Cottage Grove, Lowell, Dexter, Jasper, Oakridge, Drain along with portions of Eugene and Springfield.
Moneys raised are used to assist in funding scholarships for boys and girls that might otherwise not be able to play youth baseball. If you would like to donate to the scholarship fund your donation would be greatly appreciated. Donations should be sent to Pleasant Hill Babe Ruth, PO Box 842, Pleasant Hill, OR 97455.
