Friday evening the Pleasant Hill Babe Ruth Rookie Minors played the South Eugene Babe Ruth Rookie Minors in a tiebreaker from a previous game. The playoff game was short as Pleasant Hill scored outs on the first 3 batters following that up with a win to break the tie. Following the tie breaker the two teams continued on with a very good practice game.
Tonight at the Babe Ruth Complex Pleasant Hill and South Eugene had another game. South Eugene came to the game ready to win and they played great defense and great offense. Pleasant Hill was also prepared to win the boys were focused and they also played great defense and great offense. These two good teams went to it head to head but the Pleasant Hill Rookie Minors were able to take the lead and hold it.
