Clinic and early registration. February 5th and February 12th 1-3pm.

The first session of the Pleasant Hill Babe Ruth baseball clinic was held Sunday February 5th with a second clinic to be held Sunday February 12th from 1-3PM. If you missed the firs clinic you can still attend the clinic on the 12th.

Pleasant Hill Babe Ruth baseball coaches and guest coaches will work with the boys and girls to teach them new and refresh their baseball skills. At the PHBR clinics aspiring ball players will be divided into groups based upon age and experience. Coaches will work with  new players to teach them batting, catching and fielding skills and to refresh and improve the skills of experienced players.

Sign up will take place in the Pleasant Hill High School gym.  There is a very reasonable fee of $15 for one day or $20 for two days if paid on the day of the first clinic.

In this Pleasant Hill Babe Ruth featured video Jeff Suppan a 14 year Major League veteran player and pitcher gives tips to youth baseball players on establishing goals to achieve success in self control. Jeff shares that as a pitcher his success became greater as he started thinking on a level encouraged by his coaches to 1- Throw a first pitch strike, 2- Get ahead and 3- Put away the hitter. He goes on to explain the importance of loosing the fear of giving up a hit or walking a player and learning small successes for the big picture.
